Here's Why Affiliate Sites Aren't Worth it!

Day 15 of 1095

· niche site

Are you doubting building affiliate sites? GOOD. You should be, because it's not the pretty beach picture they paint it to be. It's a blood-bath massacre.

Here's why building affiliate sites sucks:

  1. Niches with money, are high competition...
  2. The big-dogs will hire people to hack your sites...
  3. Your competitors are more established, and will not let you dethrone them...
  4. Actual experts and their sites, hate linking to affiliate sites...
  5. Internet users generally despise affiliate sites...
  6. It takes longer to build a successful affiliate site than it does to...
  7. You can build one, and lose it all in one day...
  8. Other affiliates will copy all your work...
  9. You never know who you can trust...
  10. The best keywords are being claimed by giant companies...
  11. Affiliate sites take expertise in over a dozen areas...
  12. It takes years to become an expert in the areas needed to make a successful site...

and by then, the bigger, better companies will have paid their way past you, stealing all your work and staking claim in your niche, all while burying your site with negative SEO.

How do I know this?

It's been happening one way or another to my sites since I first started affiliate marketing 10 years ago.

But what about those successful affiliate site case studies you read about?

The people that make it bought their way to the top, or have connections to a powerful support network that helps them along the way, and you better believe that it didn't come from a course they bought. The networks i'm talking about are family, friends, coworkers... or worse, others like themselves!

Simply put, successful affiliate sites are the result of money or nepotism.

FACT: anyone that tells you they are easy, fun and fast to make money from is a liar, and just wants your money and attention.
